-First quarter is well under way here in 2009 seeing some new changes for Mopar Magic. The 2009 season kicked off in Columbus, Ohio where Ricky Ownley returned to the seat of Mopar Magic for the first time in nearly nine months. Ownley started off strong making it to the final round racing in Friday night only to be narrowly edged out by Cam McQueen and Pastrana 199. Saturday started off on the wrongside however as Ownley rolled the purple Dodge over backwards in the wheelie contest. This didn't set Mopar Magic back for long as the truck was ready to go in both racing and freestyle. The third show of the weekend so the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in just one event. Ownley looked strong in racing from the start taking out Safe Auto in the first round and then Pastrana 199 in the semi-finals. In the finals Mopar Magic took the win with ease over Safe Auto scoring the team's first racing win of the year. In freestyle Ownley came out charging hot off the racing win only for the celebration to be short lived after an awkward landing stuffed the front end into the ground causing a lot of breakage.
